Its Friday and my husband has the weekend off. Yippee!! We never have the same days off so spending time as a family is foreign to us. This weekend, however, will be different. We plan on spending most of the day Saturday playing and relaxing at home, but Sunday (being father's day and all) we will plan on taking our son to the zoo. He loves the animals. Maybe, if its warm out, we'll take him for ice cream and maybe dip his toes in the ocean. Who knows.... we can do whatever we want.
Its really hard on a young family not having the same days off so you can be a family. The only time we usually have days off together is if someone takes a vacation day. I don't care what anyone says, that's not healthy. If you want to succeed, you need to be able to succeed together, not individually.
I'll let you know how my weekend Trials and Tribulations of the Working Mother make out..♥
